A cantilevered modernist curve set in eight hectares of gardens and forest, built into a hilltop in one of Prague’s finest residential neighborhoods, Hotel Praha offers 136 oversized rooms, including 51 suites, all with terraces and panoramic city views. A unique government-protected landmark, our early-1980s architecture is clean and elegant – no chintz or lace curtains. Most of our rooms and public areas have been renovated during the past three years. Although Hotel Praha is located in a big city, our ample land and hilltop location provide an unusual and welcome amenity: total peace & quiet. Our property has hosted distinguished guests (royalty, political leaders, film & music stars) from around the world since 1981. Hotel Praha offers three types of accommodation: Ambience, Business, and Executive. There are also two extraordinarily large (370 m2) specialty suites: Imperator Suite and Presidential Suite.
The main difference between the three basic types is their decor. Ambience rooms are decorated in shades of pink and red, Business rooms offer darker wood tones and fabrics in blue, whereas Executive rooms are characterized by light brown and golden colours. Another difference is the rooms' position within the hotel. All of Hotel Praha's rooms and suites have a private terrace, ranging in size from 10 m2 up to 25 m2. Many of our terraces alone are larger than the standard rooms in other hotels! Note that the terraces shrink slightly as one rises up through our five floors, i.e., larger terraces compensate for the less elevated view from first-floor or second-floor rooms.

Hotel Praha‘s Restaurant Lavande Cuisine has recently been renovated and given a fresh modern look. With floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to our gardens, and to the skyline of Prague beyond, the restaurant provides an elegant and spacious place to enjoy your meal. Our chefs offer the best of Czech cuisine, as well as French dishes and selected specialties from Italy and Mexico. In the warmer months, the outdoor Terrace is treated as an extension of the restaurant, so that you may enjoy your meal out in the fresh air. The Terrace is great for evening barbecues, cocktail parties, or just a healthy salad lunch next to the fountain.
